The Brightgreen D1000 is the world's first halogen equivalent LED downlight. Designed in Australia with the same light quality of a 50W halogen. It has a brightness of 900lm, a colour temperature of 5000k and a 55° beam width (also available in 45°). The D1000 is also trailing and leading edge dimmable, fits into the same 90mm hole cut out as a halogen downlight and has a comparable light quality with a CRI of 85.
But the D1000 still retains all the eco benefits of Brightgreen LED technology: using only 40% of the power of a 50W halogen and lasting 15 times longer. It is also UV and fire hazzard free and comes with a Five year warranty, something that is not offered anywhere else in Australia.
